Dr. Oscar Mujica

Dr. Oscar Mujica PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

I grew up in Union, NJ, and attended Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY, for my undergraduate studies in Biology, graduating in 2016. I was then accepted into the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Miami, Florida, where I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I graduated from the program in 2020 and returned home to NJ. Since then, I’ve worked in a variety of outpatient physical therapy clinics, including both hospital-based settings and private practices, where I’ve also had the opportunity to serve as Clinic Director.

I have been treating in outpatient settings for the last five years since graduating from PT school. I hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and am currently studying for the Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC) exam. In addition, I’ve earned certifications in Graston Technique (IASTM) and Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training.

Core Values: Determination, Ambition, Patience

“Don’t count the days. Make the days count.”

I work as a Physical Therapist at the company, specializing in orthopedic outpatient conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, chronic back and neck pain, as well as post-surgical cases such as total knee replacements and rotator cuff repairs. I especially enjoy working with athletes and preparing them for a safe and effective return to sport.

I want to help patients heal both mentally and physically. Many people are focused on their physical limitations, but may be unaware of the mental roadblocks that come with injury and recovery. My goal is to support them through both aspects of the healing process.

I’m looking forward to having one-on-one time with patients and working with a close-knit, supportive team.
