Dr. John Talty
Dr. Talty grew up in Secaucus, NJ and earned a bachelor's in Exercise Science from Rutgers University, a Master's in Physical Therapy from UMDNJ-Stratford, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UMDNJ-Newark. After working in outpatient and home care at Holy Name Medical Center, Dr. Talty opened Rutherford Physical Therapy in 2013 as a boutique-style practice built on one idea: every patient gets full attention, every session. The caseload spans orthopedic and sports medicine to neurological conditions, including post-stroke recovery, Parkinson's disease, and MS.
I am very happy to recommend John Talty of Rutherford Physical Therapy. John is the owner and founder. I have been a patient of his over many years.
What guides the work.
Do the right thing. Dr. Talty strives to make the right decisions with respect to family and everyone affected by those choices, guided by a simple rule: "How you do anything is how you do everything." The clinic started as a boutique-style office where every patient felt like the top priority, and that same standard carries through as the practice grows.
Off the clock.
Life beyond the treatment table.
Dr. Talty's family includes a spouse and three young children. Outside the clinic, that means traveling together and cheering on the New York Giants and Yankees.
